The volume and variety of conditions treated by our clinicians means that they have a unique range of skills and knowledge.
To work in the contact centre providing booking services to patients, including making outpatient appointments, registering referrals, agreeing on appointment times, and ensuring accurate recording of information on relevant systems.
To register patients on the Patient Administration System.
To undertake booking of appointments following procedures, discussing available dates and times with patients.
To check all referral letters received in the department, ensure outpatient registration is entered on the Patient Administration System, and forward referral letters to relevant services within the agreed time frame.
To cancel and rebook patient appointments following guidelines issued by the relevant service.
