Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist
Are you a qualified Clinical Psychologist with at least four years of post-doctoral experience in neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, and/or services for older people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic clinical team.
About the Role: This position involves working with individuals who have organic conditions such as dementia, Huntington’s disease, alcohol-related brain damage, and acquired brain injury. The patients often present with behavioural and psychological symptoms, including challenging behaviours. The team is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and is looking for an experienced, innovative, and values-driven individual to join them.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the existing service lead to deliver and develop psychological services.
- Be part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team including Senior Nurses, Medics, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Dietitians.
- Provide clinical leadership, support, training, and consultancy to staff teams.
- Supervise trainee clinical psychologists and contribute to service development.
