About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director to take charge of Drain Doctor, a multi-award-winning, highly respected franchise brand in the drainage and plumbing sector. This role is perfect for a dynamic, strategic, and commercially focused leader who can drive growth while maintaining the brand’s reputation for outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth of the brand, driving sales and franchisee acquisition in line with our strategy.
  • Enhance communication and support between the company and franchisees.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Technical Sales Managers to generate new business.
  • Oversee regional franchise meetings and training sessions, supporting new franchisee onboarding.
  • Establish and refine operating procedures to ensure best practices are maintained.
  • Support franchisees in growing their businesses while ensuring brand compliance and operational excellence.
  • Manage and develop the Franchise Support team and Business Development team.
  • Ensure financial health across the franchise network through budget setting and business planning.
  • Act as a visible and accessible leader for franchisees, suppliers, and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably within franchising or a related industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.
  • Excellent commercial and relationship-building skills, with a strong network and people-focused approach.
  • Hands-on leadership style, capable of coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • A strong sales and business development mindset.
  • UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally.
