I’m partnered with a well-established, Coventry-based business seeking a Finance Analyst to support the ongoing development of a new software. This is more than just crunching numbers – you’ll act as the key bridge between the Finance and Data teams, ensuring a seamless integration of systems, insight, and processes. This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to £50,000 + bonus + enhanced benefits. This is a unique role for a SQL savvy finance analyst who is keen to make a name for themselves across a well known business!
What you’ll be doing:
Support the implementation of a new financial software system, ensuring the Finance team’s needs are met
Use your SQL skills to extract, query and interpret data during testing and implementation
Act as the key liaison between Finance and the Data team – translating requirements, identifying data gaps, and troubleshooting
Develop reports, dashboards, and financial analysis that support business decision-making
Spot opportunities to improve existing processes and streamline financial reporting
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role
Solid understanding of SQL and working with large data sets
Comfortable working across teams and translating technical detail into actionable insight
Experience supporting system or software implementations (ideal, not essential)
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
