Data Engineer | London, Twice Weekly | £50,000-£55,000

My client is on the lookout for a Data Engineer who’s passionate about building scalable data solutions and enabling smarter business decisions. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across the full data lifecycle – from ingestion to insight – using modern tools and best practices. You’ll be collaborating with a range of teams and have real influence over how data is structured, accessed, and used. Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines that convert raw inputs into structured, analysis-ready datasets.
• Embed robust validation checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver data outputs aligned with business needs.
• Assist in the development of dashboards and ensure appropriate security is in place for data assets.
• Drive improvements and automation within data workflows and reporting processes.

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in a data engineering or data science capacity, ideally within a cloud-based setup.
• Solid grasp of SQL, ETL workflows, data modelling principles, and Databricks development.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Confident in working with programming languages like SQL and Python (or R), with strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of data protection and governance standards, with relevant certifications a nice bonus.
