Investigo are currently partnered with a UK wide, B2B telecommunications provider on a search for a contracts manager to join their commercial team, based out of their Reading office.
You’ll be leading on high-value telecoms contracts across various categories, playing a pivotal role in driving procurement strategy, ensuring commercial compliance and building strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a key business partner to stakeholders in Network and Operations, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Leading commercial negotiations and owning the contract lifecycle from strategy to execution.
- Supporting sales teams with customer-driven demand to help boost revenue.
- Managing supplier relationships and resolving in-life performance issues.
- Developing and maintaining robust category and contract plans.
- Collaborating with Finance, Legal, and AP to ensure contract compliance and cost control.
- Providing insight-driven recommendations using market data and supplier intelligence.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in telecommunications contracts with knowledge of common pricing models.
- Solid understanding of procurement fundamentals – contract law, sourcing, negotiation, and commercial strategy.
- Confident liaising with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable commercial plans.
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience managing complex budgets and supplier strategies across a telecoms environment
