Educational Support Worker

Job Purpose

• To provide support to young people with High Needs by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation.
• To facilitate the delivery of education programmes to small groups and individuals.
• To ensure that learners are kept safe at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivering and developing services to children, young people, families and carers.
• Contributing to the identification of the support needs of young people with High Needs.
• Being a key worker for learners as directed by appropriate managers.
• Providing personal care, first aid and medication as appropriate.
• Ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety processes and protocols are in place, adhering to LLS and policies and OFSTED requirements.
• Develop and maintain appropriate mentoring relationships with young people and those engaged with them.

Hours & Pay

• Monday – Friday
• 08:30- 16:30
