Job Title: Head of Finance Location: Solihull
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
– Partner with the Group Finance Director to support financial planning and deliver key objectives. – Lead the production of accurate and insightful financial reports to inform business strategy. – Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing expert financial guidance. – Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and risk management. – Utilise technology and automation to streamline month-end reporting and improve efficiency. – Oversee financial policies and procedures for event-related P&L, ensuring compliance and best practices. – Enhance financial visibility by introducing self-service reporting tools for key decision-makers. – Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
The Successful Applicant:
– A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive post-qualification experience. – Strong background in financial leadership, with expertise in financial reporting and process optimisation. – A strategic mindset with exceptional stakeholder management skills. – Experience driving finance system improvements and automation. – A proactive, hands-on leader who can develop and inspire teams.
