Job Title: Client AccountantSalary: Basic salary from £32,000 dependent on experience, plus a quarterly paid commission incentive.Location: 4 Halyard Place, London, E16 2TH
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join our team in Royal Wharf. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients and being the main point of contact for any accounts-related queries. Intermittently, the successful candidate will also assist with accounts payable duties, setting up new tenancies, handling deposits, and various financial reporting.
Your Responsibilities as a Client Accountant:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing all aspects of their financial administration.
- Respond to enquiries about statements and rents, ensuring timely rent and fee collection through effective credit control.
- Manage deposit releases and set up daily payment schedules.
- Contribute to finance and tax reporting.
- Provide operational support to the team as required, working closely with your line manager.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a client accountant within an estate agency, with a solid understanding of the industry and its specific responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong customer-centric approach, prioritising client needs and satisfaction.
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems effectively.
- Prior use of Veco software is advantageous.
